Welcome to the First Annual Babson Investment Management Conference website. We have compiled one of the greatest lineups of investment professionals to ever present at Babson. Jurrien Timmer, Director of Market Research and Portfolio Manager, Fidelity Investments
Mr. Timmer graduated from Babson in 1985. He joined Fidelity in 1995 as a technical research analyst. He has run the charting and market research segment of Fidelity Management and Research Company since 1998. In 2007 he launched his own mutual fund, Fidelity Dynamic Strategies Fund.
Afternoon Keynote:
Erik Sirri received his B.S. from the California Institute of Technology in 1979, his MBA from the University of California, Irvine in 1984, and his Ph.D in Finance from UCLA in 1990. Mr. Sirri worked in multiple roles for NASA before becoming a professor. He has been a professor at Harvard Business School and Babson College. He is currently serving his second stint with the SEC after working as the Chief Economist from 1996 to 1999.
